Enyinna NWIGWE

Chief Enyinna Nwigwe (born September 18), is a Nigerian Actor, Producer, and Creative Entrepreneur. He is best known for playing Nonso in The Wedding Party 2 and playing Tamuno in Black November.
Nwigwe is from Ngor Okpala, in Imo State.Born  to Nigerian parents, He studied at the University of Calabar and holds a degree in Economics.
Nwigwe began his career as a print and runway model before transitioning to professional acting. His first feature was in a 2004 film, Wheel of Change after which he went on to work alongside some of the most respected producers and directors in Africa and across the globe.
In 2012, he joined the cast of Black November opposite actors Kim Basinger, Vivica A. Fox, Akon, and Wyclef Jean. In 2017, he played the lead role in South African movie, All About Love which won best film Southern Africa at the AMVCAs. In 2019, Nwigwe played the role of “Obinna Omego” in the remake of Nigerian Classic, Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, and more recently, played the lead role of Nura Yusuf in Nigeria’s first military-based film, Eagle Wings. Nwigwe also led a stellar cast in Prime video released Badamasi, a biopic on the former military President of Nigeria & the most controversial on record. He got the Best Actor in a Leading Role nomination by Africa Movie Academy Awards, for his portrayal of President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) in the film.
In recognition of his work, Nwigwe’s portrait photograph by Nigerian-American photographer Iké Udé was selected to permanently be on exhibition at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African Art. Situated at the National Mall of the United States capital, Washington DC.
Nwigwe lives in Lagos, Nigeria. He is passionate about cooking, fitness and enjoys playing tennis.
In 2015, Nwigwe was nominated for a Nollywood and African Film Critics Award, also known as the African Oscars, for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in Black November.
In 2016, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor of the Year (English) at the City People Entertainment Awards.
In December of 2021 Enyinna was conferred with a chieftaincy title as CHITURUGO (Crowned by God)1
Of Logara for his humanitarian work with ENYINNA NWIGWE FOUNDATION focusing on the plight of underprivileged kids and the physically challenged.
